Augusta: A Great Heritage – Explore a day in the life of a German Immigrant

The Augusta Harvest Festival is held the third week in September and captures the rich heritage of past festivals held in Augusta. This festival has been held for over 100 years.

Friday evening we kick off the festival with the “Swinging in the Vines” concert and picnic in the vineyard.

Saturday is a fun filled day of celebrating the diverse and exceptional talents and skills of the Greater Augusta community. There will be activities and events for all ages. We even have a parade!

**Saturday 9:00am lace up your shoes and take part in an event that promises to be a benchmark for years to come. This 5k is slated to start at the Trail Head in Augusta and finish inside the historic and picturesque Mount Pleasant Estates. Activities and fun surround this event, making it a family/group must! Grab your Augusta Harvest Fest 5k Performance T-shirt by registering prior to August 1st. Proceeds benefit the Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce.

Saturday concludes with a “Celebration Dinner” recognizing the “Best of the Best” of the festival participants.

The Augusta Harvest Festival concludes on Sunday afternoon with a variety of activities and events all focused on the culture and heritage of Augusta.
