New Melle Festival

  • $2.00 Thursday, $5.00 Friday and Saturday, 12 & under free

The New Melle Festival kicks off Thursday, August 13th. Bring the kids and grandkids for a fun-filled evening featuring a magic show, balloon artist, face-painting, vehicles and demonstrations from local first responder agencies, petting zoo, and more.  Admission is $2.00 per person or $1.00 with a canned food donation.

Friday Night (August 14) – Gates open at 6 PM The 2020 Festival Queen will be announced on the main stage - pageant beginning at 7:00 PM, followed by live music by Trixie Delight at 8 PM.  Admission is $5.00 per person (12 & under free).

Saturday (August 15) features a full day of activities starting with a “Gizzard Run” at 9:00 AM (Registration and packet pick-up start at 7:30 AM under the water tower).

Festival Parade begins at 1:30 PM and registration for the baby contest begins at 3:00 PM.  There will be live music in the beer garden and a cornhole tournament starting at 3:00 PM also. An exhibition rugby game will be held at 5:30 PM on the football field.  Saturday's admission is $5.00 per person (12 & under free).

Carnival rides available:  $20.00 for a one day pass or $50.00 for a weekend pass.  Advanced purchase wristbands:  $15.00 for a one day pass or $40.00 for a weekend pass, available for purchase at NMSR office, last cay to purchase is 8/10. 

Enjoy the high-energy rockin’ country band Brushville taking the stage at 7:00 PM. Come and see why this exciting band has been bringing down the house with sold out performances across the country.
