Race for the Rivers

  • August 29, 2020
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Location: Blanchette Landing
  • 100 Olive St., Saint Charles, MO 63301

Back this year on August 29, 2020, the Race For the Rivers aims to get more people down to the water and involved in river conservation. In an effort to make the canoe and kayak event accessible and fun for a wide variety of skill and competition levels, we offer two separate racing events: the 20-Mile Race and the 30-Mile Race (previously 40-Mile Race).

Announcement 1: Due to COVID-19, we will not be able to take any walk-up registrations or payments on the day of the race. All registrations, payments, and waivers must be in by noon on Monday, August 24, 2020.

Announcement 2: The 40-Mile Race will now start at the Klondike Boat Ramp near Augusta, MO and that race is now a 30-Mile Race. Both races (20-Mile and 30-Mile) will finish at Blanchette Landing.

St. Charles is known for its warm welcome, unique historical perspective, and beautiful sites—there’s so much to do you’ll need more than a day.
