Only one lane will be open for traffic on westbound Interstate 70 at the Blanchette Missouri River Bridge from 11 p.m. Friday, March 29 until 8 a.m. Saturday, March 30, for pavement repair.  The westbound exit ramp to southbound Fifth Street will also be closed.  Motorists are strongly advised to use Route 370 or Route 364 as alternate Missouri River crossings overnight Friday night into Saturday morning. The one open lane on westbound I-70 will only be 10 feet wide.

The ramp to northbound Fifth Street will remain open so motorists needing to access southbound Fifth Street can exit to northbound Fifth Street and find a safe place to turn around to access southbound Fifth Street.

Motorists are advised to slow down in the work zone and obey the posted 45 mph speed limit.  For more information on the I-70 Blanchette Bridge rehabilitation project, go to www.modot.org/blanchettebridge.
