The St. Charles Chill, in conjunction with the Missouri Mavericks, announced Wednesday, the Central Hockey League (CHL) teams will square off in an exhibition game on Friday, October 11 at the Family Arena at 7:05 p.m.  Admission to the game is free and seating will be general admission.

"We look forward to kicking off our rivalry with the Mavericks just eight days before the regular season begins," said Chill General Manager and Head Coach Jamie Rivers.  "This game will be a great opportunity for Chill fans to get a first look at the inaugural season team.  It will also be a great opportunity for those players fighting for roster spots."

The Chill is hosting a free agent tryout starting this Friday, August 23 at Chesterfield Ice Complex.  One player from the free agent tryout will be awarded a spot in the Chill's inaugural training camp beginning in October.

The Chill will begin their inaugural season in the Central Hockey League in October 19 at the Family Arena.  The team will play 33 home games and the inaugural season schedule is available at the Chill's website.  Season tickets are currently on sale now and start at under $10 per game.  For more information on the Chill, please visit the website at or call (636) 724-SHOT (7468).
