Back for another three-month run of free concerts in Civic Park, O'Fallon Jammin' concerts will be held from 6:30 - 9 p.m. every Tuesday night from June 2 to August 18 (except June 30) in O'Fallon, Missouri (63366). Jammin' sponsors some of the best bands in the region, along with a variety of food trucks and traditional vendors offering ethnic and other fare and cold beverages at each Jammin' concert. The June 2 concert features Slice of the Hill, Yo! Salsa, Kona Ice, Giardina Gourmet Dogs & More, C Rallo (cheesesteaks), Rendezvous Café & Wine Bar and Missouri Kettle Corn. (Food trucks and vendors are subject to change without notice.) Kids can enjoy Jammin', too, by playing with hula hoops or on the ADA-accessible playground near the bandstand.
No two concerts will be the same. Besides Trixie Delight, June's musical lineup includes the Surf's Up's Beach Boys tribute on June 9, contemporary country by NashVegas on June 16, and music from the movies, pops, swing, big band and jazz on June 23 by the O'Fallon Community Concert Band and the O'Fallon Jazz Band. Although there's no concert on June 30, nationally-known headliners will appear at O'Fallon's Heritage & Freedom Fest on July 3 and 4. www.heritageandfreedomfest.com
Patrons should bring chairs or blankets for lawn seating around the Civic Park Bandstand. All pets must be leashed. An ADA-accessible playground, walking path and restrooms are located nearby. For safety's sake, no glass containers are allowed in the park. Jammin' is sponsored by the O'Fallon Parks and Recreation Department with support from local businesses.
