Hopeful and positive, with a chalkboard menu and a small dining area they opened Miss Aimee B's Tea Room and the Upstairs Marketplace.

Since 1987, Miss Aimee B's has served as a gathering & special place for countless tourists and residents of our charming St.Charles, Missouri.

Built in 1865, the national register Marten-Becker House has stood as a beacon of an era long forgotten.  In the beginning the restaurant would host birthday tea parties, where little girls would dress up in their mother's finery and enjoy a proper tea party and fashion show.  Meanwhile, the mothers would shop at the marketplace on the second floor.

More recently, while still hosting tea parties, the home has been the attraction for a myriad of weddings, birthdays, bridal and baby showers.  Often the same little girls are now celebrating events 25 years later.

Tuesday through Saturday, Miss Aimee's is always a great place for breakfast, lunch, or dessert, a bottle of wine, or a glass of  special lemonade.  Many memories have been made inside the Victorian house's mahogany doors and more are sure to come!

The restaurant was named after the last living member of the home her grandfather built.  Miss Aimee Becker was a Lindenwood College graduate and a former Immanuel Lutheran Church member.  As a generous woman to her community, Aimee bequeathed her home to the St.Charles County Historical Society.

Longtime friends Sherry Pfaender and Judy Howell leased the house from the Historical Society in 1987 and converted it into the restaurant, creating a menu so as not to alter any of the home's lovely character or authenticity.  The menus have continued to be fresh and healthy, homemade and delicious throughout the years - all 25 of them!  Yes, they still keep coming to the party!

May is the special month with birthday celebrations the first week & mother's day Saturday the 12th.  The next months to follow will add wine tastings and music to the Saturday events.  The restaurant is still hosting private parties and celebrations, and bringing Missouri wineries to  things to do on Saturdays.  Call (636) 946-4202 for future events or check the website:  www.missaimeeb.com

Thank you St.Charles and all our old friends from far and wide for remembering us as often as you do!
