No O'Fallon Jammin' Concert will be held on Tuesday, June 30; Jammin' resumes on July 7.
- In observance of Independence Day, the following City facilities will be closed on Friday, July 3: the O'Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), the Parks and Recreation Administration Office, and the Renaud Spirit Center (RSC).
- Alligator's Creek Aquatic Center in Civic Park will be open Friday, July 3, from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., and on Saturday, July 4, from noon - 5 p.m.
The City of O'Fallon's Heritage & Freedom Fest will be held July 2-4 at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex, 900 T.R. Hughes Boulevard, O'Fallon 63366; for directions, etc. visit www.heritageandfreedomfest.com. The festival will be open with free admission and parking on:
Thursday, July 2, from 5 -10 p.m. (Family Night) with carnival rides, a midway, concessions and a D.J. taking song requests (no fireworks or other activities).
Friday, July 3, from noon-11 p.m., featuring country music headliners Gloriana and LoCash in concert, free, on the OneMain Financial Main Stage, fireworks at 10:15 p.m., sideshows and Kids' Zone fun (free), the carnival and midway and festival food and beverage vendors.
Saturday, July 4, from noon -10 p.m., featuring free concerts on the OneMain Financial Main Stage by nationally-known rockers Smash Mouth, Toad the Wet Sprocket and special guest Tonic, followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Other activities include the Kids' Zone, sideshows, carnival and midway.
- Also on Saturday, July 4, at 9:30 a.m., the Heritage & Freedom Fest Parade will get underway from the corner of North Main and Third Streets, proceed north on Main Street, turn east on Tom Ginnever Avenue, and finish at the corner of Tom Ginnever and T.R. Hughes Boulevard near the festival entrance.
