First prize winner in the Rachmaninoff Competition in Moscow and the Artur Rubenstein Competition in Poland, Ms. Igoshina will perform the Chopin Heroic Polonaise and Preludes by Rachmaninoff (Op.23 & Op. 32). She will be joined by Bulgarian cellist Valentina Takova, and St. Louis clarinetist Rebecca Hill for chamber music selections by Beethoven (Trio, Op.11) and Brahms (Trio, Op.114). The program will open with soprano Jennifer Stroups, winner of the 2014 National Association of Teachers St. Louis Chapter auditions, accompanied by Nancy Mayo. Radio personality Tom Sudholt (RAF-STL 107.3 FM) will be master of ceremonies. The concert is presented in cooperation with the Lindenwood University Music Department and is underwritten by the Daniel C. and Marilyn J. Glore Charitable Foundation. There is no charge for admission, no tickets required, and seating is open.
