Saint Charles Riverfront Arts (SCRA) announces that the not-for-profit organization will be hosting their 2015 Spring series of "Artists Workshops", for St. Charles County residents ages 13 and older.
The six-week "Artists Workshop" classes will be held at the St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre, located at 1 1 St. Peters Centre Boulevard (at St. Peters City Hall) on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, beginning March 4th and concluding on April 15th, 2015.
Professional instruction in drawing and watercolor painting, along with all artists materials, will be provided free of charge courtesy of SCRA, a not-for-profit arts organization. The "Artists Workshop" series will feature occasional technique demonstrations by professional "working" artists.
This highly acclaimed community arts program has been hosted by Saint Charles Riverfront Arts since 2011. The "Artist Workshop" series includes art novices all the way up to professional artists. SCRA welcomes and encourages all interested participants to take part in the Artists Workshops, which will include a wide range of students with all levels of abilities and skill sets. Class size will be limited to the first 60 applicants.
These special six-week arts programs are free to the public, but the not-for-profit Saint Charles Riverfront Arts organization will gladly accept tax-deductible donations from individuals, companies and other organizations to ensure the availability of future arts education programs for the St. Charles community.
