ST. PATRICK’S DAY WALK/RUN 5K

Start the festivities at 10 AM with the St. Patrick’s Day 5K run/walk on the Katy Trail. People of all skill levels and paces are welcome to join, whether you’re chasing a personal best, enjoying a walk with friends, or in it for the free beer at the finish line. The race begins and ends at Good News Brewing, so it’s only fitting that participants 21+ get a complimentary beer at the brewery and a voucher for the beer tent down the road to keep the celebration going.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

Stick around after the race for the exciting Defiance St. Patrick’s Day Parade at noon. Grab a spot along HWY 94 and watch as a festive procession of decorate floats, cars, golf carts, and even pets (from dogs and horses to alpacas) makes its way from Defiance Ridge Vineyards into downtown Defiance.

Because the parade route runs on HWY 94, it’s recommended that you arrive early to find a parking spot. Parking is available at several local businesses around town and is cash only, so come prepared!

POST PARADE FESTIVITIES

The party doesn’t stop there! Visit Defiance businesses and vendors for a selection of food, drinks, and live music throughout the afternoon. Catch rockin’ live performances at these businesses and others:
