Legends & Lanterns® Sensory Friendly ExpEERIEnce
On Sundays during Legends & Lanterns® (October 10, 17, and 24), the festival will host a self-guided sensory friendly expEERIEnce at the Historic KATY Train Depot in Frontier Park from 10am-11:15am.
Featuring a select number of Legends & Lanterns® characters who will be camped along the deck of the depot, guests will be able to get a taste of the iconic Halloween magic of Legends & Lanterns® in an environment that is less overstimulating, allowing for a more comfortable visit for guests of all ages with sensitivities.
The family friendly exhibits inside the KATY Depot will feature modified lighting and sound for those who wish to experience Tinseltown Terror (a salute to the golden age of monster movies), The Warbling Gourds (a trio of singing Jack-O-Lanterns), and Morbid Curiosity (a historical exhibit highlighting Victorian mourning customs).
