St. Charles Borromeo Parish

From 4 PM to 7 PM dine-in and carry out at St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Located at 601 N Fourth Street, they have many items on their menu: from baked and fried cod to whole catfish, fried shrimp, and fish tacos, and even pizza. There’s something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. They offer both an adult and child meal and each come with several sides. Menu items are available a la carte as well.


St. Cletus Catholic Church

St. Cletus Catholic Church has a wide variety of options at their Friday fish fry. Choose from a large or small meal (each comes with dessert and several sides including their famous coleslaw). Choose from fried cod, fried catfish, baked cod, fried shrimp, or even crab cakes. Don’t miss their weekly specials, including options like lobster rangoons and shrimp poppers. They’re open for dine-in from 4 PM to 7 PM where jumbo shrimp cocktails are exclusively offered. If you prefer the convenience of a drive-thru, St. Cletus Catholic Church provides a drive-thru option for convenience from 4 PM to 6:30 PM.


St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Knights of Columbus

Join the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Knights of Columbus from 4 PM to 7 PM on Fridays for a fish fry for the whole family to enjoy. The adult meal includes one entrée, two dies, crispy hush puppies, dessert, and your choice of coffee or tea. For the little ones, the kids’ meal features one entrée, one side, hush puppies, a sweet treat, and refreshing lemonade. The diverse menu boats a selection entrees from fried cod and catfish to baked cod, shrimp, fish tacos, and quesadillas. Customize your meal by adding extras like fish by the pound, a fish taco, four pieces of shrimp, an extra side, a cheese quesadilla, or an additional dessert to any meal. Sts. Joachim & Ann Catholic Church

Experience a delightful fish fry at Sts. Joachim & Ann Catholic Church located at 4412 McClay Road. Dine-in and carry out is available from 4 PM to 7 PM. Choose from a small fish dinner with one piece of fish and two sides or the larger option with two pieces of fish and three sides. Pick a shrimp dinner, spaghetti dinner, cheese pizza dinner, or the more traditional fried cod, fried catfish, fried shrimp, and baked fish. They also offer fish and shrimp by the pound. Weekly dine-in specials include crab cakes, fish tacos, and mac & cheese.


St. Peter Catholic Church

Located right near Historic Main Street St. Charles, St. Peter Catholic Church at 221 1st Capitol Dr is offering a dine-in and carry out fish fry from 4 PM to 7 PM. Indulge in their selection of cod, frog legs, butterfly shrimp, peel & eat shrimp, and whole catfish. Meals are available in adult and kids’ size so that the entire family can enjoy. Each meal includes a choice of french fries or a baked potato with coleslaw, diced tomatoes, hush puppies, cornbread, and ice cream for dessert. Wash it down with complimentary coffee, tea, or milk.


VFW Post 2866

VFW Post 2866 at 66 VFW Lane is one of the only fish fries available on Good Friday. Open on Fridays from 3 PM to 7 PM, they offer an adult plate featuring two pieces of fish and three sides and a senior/child plate with one piece of fish and two sides. They also offer a fish sandwich, a shrimp basket, and a chicken tender basket, and fish by the pound. Sides are available with meals and by the pint or quart. They include mac & cheese, French fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, white beans, and spaghetti. They also offer dessert and soda, with coffee, lemonade, and tea included.


Chicken N Pickle

It’s fish Friday all Lenten season long at Chicken N Pickle! They’ve added shrimp Caesar salad and a fried cod sandwich to their menu that are available every Friday through Lent.

Main Street HonkyTonk

Main Street HonkyTonk at 204 N Main Street offers an all-you-can-eat Lenten fish fry meal on Fridays. This lively venue will make both you and your taste buds dance as they have live music to accompany your meal. Take advantage of this special from 11 AM to 9 PM on Fridays during Lent.


Salt + Smoke

Salt + Smoke at 501 Main Street offers a fish fry special every Friday until March 29th. Order a mouthwatering beer-battered fillet of haddock served with cream co’ slaw and house remoulade with pickles and your choice of one side. Enjoy it at lunch or dinner – Salt + Smoke is open from 11 AM to 10 PM.


Mission Taco Joint

Visit the Streets of St. Charles this Lenten season and go to Mission Taco Joint. Located at 1650 Beale Street, order their menu mainstays: the Mango Hop-Anero Shrimp or Baja Fish tacos, or order their exclusive Lenten season offer: the Jamaican Salmon Tacos.



Pickleman’s at 2041 Zumbehl Road is offering a tuna salad sandwich for a limited time during Lenten season. Known as “The Big Tuna”, it’s made with house made tuna salad, melted provolone, lettuce, and tomato.
