From Lizzie Borden and the Big Bad Wolf, to the Queen of Hearts and Captain Hook, a roll call of the most infamous villains, spell casters, and scallywags of literature and folklore descend upon Saint Charles, making the area their new favorite “haunt.” But beware; a band of bumbling angry villagers is hot on their trail, seeking to thwart these supernatural visitors at every turn. Get ready for the ultimate trick-or-treating event the day before Halloween on October 30 from 3 PM to 5 PM as Main Street St. Charles shows off its fall charm for Trick-or-Treat on Main. With the street closed to traffic, little superheroes, princesses, TV characters, and other costumed goblins trick-or-treat from businesses on Main Street. Families can stroll along the brick-lined street surrounded by charming historic buildings and festive decorations for a one-of-a-kind Halloween event in Saint Charles.
