From Lizzie Borden and the Big Bad Wolf, to the Queen of Hearts and Captain Hook, a roll call of the most infamous villains, spell casters, and scallywags of literature and folklore descend upon Saint Charles, making the area their new favorite “haunt.” But beware; a band of bumbling angry villagers is hot on their trail, seeking to thwart these supernatural visitors at every turn. With seven dates spanning over three weeks, there are plenty of opportunities to experience the magic yourself!

Get ready for the ultimate trick-or-treating event the day before Halloween on October 30 from 3 PM to 5 PM as Main Street St. Charles shows off its fall charm for Trick-or-Treat on Main. With the street closed to traffic, little superheroes, princesses, TV characters, and other costumed goblins trick-or-treat from businesses on Main Street. Families can stroll along the brick-lined street surrounded by charming historic buildings and festive decorations for a one-of-a-kind Halloween event in Saint Charles.

Participate in Witches on Main
Gather your friends and dress in your wicked best for an evening of shop discounts, drink specials, entertainment, and contests at St. Charles Witches on Main. On October 3 from 3 PM to 10 PM, grab your broomstick and witch hat and head to Historic Main Street for an evening of fall fun. Celebrate the season at the St. Charles Market on Main’s Pumpkin Festival on October 17 and their Halloween Market on October 31, both from 7:30 AM to 1 PM on North Main Street between Clark and Adams Streets.
