The Saint Charles County Fair is fast approaching! Here is a summary of a few exciting things at the St. Charles Co Fair this year. Celebrate agriculture, crafts, and entertainment with the community July 23-27 at Rotary Park in Wentzville. Ride thrilling carnival rides, enjoy classic fair food, dance to live music, watch the rodeo and demolition derby, and more. Tickets include admission for the carnival rides, entertainment, and parking. Single day and season tickets are available. Tuesday, July 23

4:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The 2024 St. Charles County Fair officially begins at 4 PM when the gates and the Kolb Exhibition Center open. Beginning at 5 PM, the S&S Farms Exotic Petting Zoo opens at 5 PM followed by the children’s area with inflatables at 5:30 PM, and the opening ceremony at 6 PM. The “Hart”land Garden Tractor Pull, MOSAC Antique Tractor Pull, swine judging, carnival rides, and other games also start at 6 PM. Does your child have what it takes to be Little Mr or Little Miss St. Charles County? Bring your little one and find out at the contest at 6:30 PM. There are two categories: the "cute" category and the casual "Farmers of Tomorrow" wear category. Children will be judged based on the "kid next door" look, no make up allowed. Stay until 7:30 PM for the electrifying T&A Bucking Bulls Rodeo  in the Horse Arena. Sing your heart out at the Premier Entertainment STL Karaoke in the Entertainment Tent at 8:30 PM.

 

Wednesday, July 24

9:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Poultry judging is the first event of the day at 11 AM, followed by goat, market sheep, market rabbit, and market steer & market heifer judging in the afternoon and evening. S&S Farms Exotic Petting Zoo, the children's area, and carnival rides all open at the same time they did on Tuesday. Kick up your heels and learn some new dance moves at Mabee Fitness’ Line Dancing Lessons at 6 PM in the Entertainment Tent. Don't miss the T&A Bucking Bull Rodeo at 7:30 PM! Babaloo, a one-man musical comedy act for kids, performs at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:30 PM. Top off the evening with a concert from Mark Perkins in the Entertainment Tent.

Thursday, July 25

9:00 AM - 11:30 PM

The Kolb Exhibition Center Opens at 10 AM with most of the action not scheduled until later in the day. S&S Farms Exotic Petting Zoo, the children's area, and carnival rides all open at the same time they did on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday highlights include the Nostalgia Car Show, the Eastern Missouri Truck Pull, the 4-H/FFA Livestock Auction, and performances by a ventriloquist. Thursday evening is headlined by a concert from Retro Joe & the 8 Tracks at 8 PM.

 

Friday, July 26

9:00 AM - 11:55 PM

Free Carnival rides with admission start early on Friday at 1-4 PM and 6-10 PM. Breeding rabbit judging is at 3:00 PM. Start training now! One of the best events of the fair, the Tug-Of-War competition, is at 6 PM. Make sure you don't miss the Excaliber Truck and Tractor Pull at 7:00 PM and the Pig Scramble at 8:00 PM. The band, Drawl, plays at 8:30 PM.

Saturday, July 27

8 AM – 11:55 PM

Saturday is the last day of the County Fair, and it is full of fun! Grab your cutest tiny relative for the annual St. Charles County Fair baby contest at 9 AM. Following that is beef breeding judging at 9:30 AM. Kids will love the balloon artist, caricaturist, and face painters, all of which open at 10:00 AM. The fun continues with the kids' games at 10:30 AM like sack races, turtle races, frog races, and more! Free carnival rides are from 12-4 PM and 6-11 PM on Saturday.  Find the Big Creek Clydesdales in the Show Barn at noon. Join the community for Mass at the Demolition Derby Track Amphitheater at 4 PM followed by a performance by musician Kam Bugger. Farmers are put to the test in the Super Farmer 'he-man' competition at 5 PM, where complete tasks that replicate responsibilities they may normally do on the farm. The best farmer wins the year's "Super Farmer" award. The always popular Lawn Mower Derby and the Demolition Derby is at 7:00 PM. A concert from Bangarang STL will top off this year's St. Charles County Fair at 8:30 PM.
