The Saint Charles County Fair is fast approaching; here is a summary of the exciting events and attractions at the St. Charles Co Fair this year, so that you can plan your trip. Celebrate agriculture, crafts, and entertainment with the community July 22-26 at Rotary Park in Wentzville. Ride thrilling carnival rides, enjoy classic fair food, dance to live music, watch the rodeo and demolition derby, and more at this summer celebration. County Fair tickets include admission to the carnival rides, live entertainment, and parking. Single day and season tickets are available to purchase. Tuesday, July 22

4:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The 2025 St. Charles County Fair officially begins when the gates open at 4 PM. S&S Farms Exotic Petting Zoo opens at 5 PM for guests to meet and interact with cute animals while waiting for the opening ceremony to start at 5:30 PM. The “Hart”land Garden Tractor Pull, MOSAC Antique Tractor Pull, swine judging, carnival rides, mini golf, and the Kolb Exhibition Center open and begin at 6 PM. Kids can channel their inner explorer at the DINO Show and Dinosaur Exhibit throughout the evening.

Does your child have what it takes to be Little Mr or Little Miss St. Charles County? Bring your little one and find out at the contest at 6:30 PM. There are two categories: the "cute" category and the casual "Little Lights, Big Dreams – Let Freedom Ring” wear category. Children are judged based on the "kid next door" look, no make-up allowed. Stay until 7:30 PM for the electrifying T&A Bucking Bulls Rodeo in the Horse Arena and end the night by singing your heart out at the Premier Entertainment Karaoke & DJ in the Entertainment Tent at 8:30 PM.

 

Wednesday, July 23

9:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Gates opens at 9 AM for the second day of the county fair in St. Charles. Poultry judging is the first event of the day at 11 AM, followed by goat, market sheep, market steer, and market heifer judging in the afternoon and into the evening. S&S Farms Exotic Petting Zoo opens at 5 PM, with the carnival rides, Dinosaur Exhibit, and mini golf area opening at 6 PM. Catch the DINO Show at 6 PM, 7 PM, and 8 PM and the magic show at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:30 PM. The Out of Field Tractor Pull begins at 7 PM. Don't miss the excitement of the T&A Bucking Bull Rodeo at 7:30 PM. Finish the evening with a concert from Retro Joe & the 8 Tracks in the Entertainment Tent.

Thursday, July 24

9:00 AM - 11:30 PM

The Saint Charles County Fair gates open at 9 AM on Thursday, with most of the action not scheduled until later in the day. S&S Farms Exotic Petting Zoo opens at 5 PM and the carnival rides, DINO Show, Dinosaur Exhibit, inflatable obstacle course, and mini golf course open at 6 PM. Thursday highlights include the Nostalgia Car Show, the Eastern Missouri Truck Pull, the 4-H/FFA Livestock Auction, and a ventriloquist show. Thursday night features a headlining performance by the Acoustic Junkies at 8 PM.

 

Friday, July 25

9:00 AM - 11:55 PM

The St. Charles County Fair opens at 9 AM on Friday, with the carnival rides starting at 1 PM, followed by breeding rabbit judging at 3 PM. Start training now for one of the most exciting events of the fair, the Tug-Of-War competition, at 6 PM. Make a team of your strongest friends to win bragging rights. Catch the DINO Show at 5 PM, 7 PM, and 8 PM and Babaloo, a one-man musical comedy act for kids, performing at 6 PM, 7 PM, and 8 PM. Spend a day at the fair and see the animals at S&S Farms Exotic Petting Zoo, play a round of mini golf, or kids can challenge each other to a race in the inflatable obstacle course. Make sure you don't miss the Excalibur Truck and Tractor Pull at 7:00 PM and the Pig Scramble at 8:00 PM. Rock out with rock cover band, Kick-Ass STL, at 8:30 PM.

Saturday, July 26

8 AM – 11:55 PM

Saturday is the last day of the County Fair, and it is full of fun! Get fresh-made pancakes from Chris Cakes’ Pancake Flipping when the gates open at 8 AM to start the day off right. Grab your cutest tiny relative for the annual St. Charles County Fair baby contest at 9 AM. Livestock events include beef breeding judging at 9:30 AM and sheep breeding judging at 11 AM. Kids will love the balloon artist, caricaturist, and face painters, all of which open at 10:00 AM.

The fun continues with the kids' games at 10:30 AM like sack races, turtle races, frog races, and more! Carnival rides run from 12-4 PM and 6-11 PM on Saturday. Kick up your heels and learn some new dance moves at Mabee Fitness’ Line Dancing Lessons at 5 PM in the Entertainment Tent. Farmers go head-to-head in the Super Farmer ‘He-Man’ Competition at 5 PM, tackling challenges that mirror real-life farm duties. The top performer will earn the coveted title of this year’s “Super Farmer”. The always-popular Lawn Mower Derby and the Demolition Derby is at 7:00 PM. A concert from the band, Drawl, will finish off this year's St. Charles County Fair at 8:30 PM.
